Step 1
Attach the SOLVES attachment to your crane hook appropriately. |
Step 2
If it is not already attached, attach the close line of the bucket to the SOLVES attachment. |

Step 1
Begin with the bucket in the open position. |
Step 2
Engage the intermediate hook in the top bail loop. |
Step 3
Lift the bucket using the intermediate hook and top bail loop. |
Step 4
Place bucket in position to close on material. |
Step 5
Detach intermediate hook from top bail loop. |
Step 6
Retract the hoist line to close the bucket. |
Step 7
Hoist bucket with load. |
Step 8
Place bucket in position to empty. |
Step 9
Engage the intermediate hook and lift bucket with top bail loop to empty the bucket. |
Step 10
Return bucket for next load of material. |
Remember:
- Know your load! Do not attempt to pick a load of unknown weight!
- Do not use the bucket where the intermediate hook cannot be easily engaged to open the bucket; for example, underwater.
- Do not attempt to shake or bounce material out of the bucket.
- Keep the hoist line and the close line on the bucket free of tangles and loops to prevent kinking.
